It's a popular daydream among wine devotees to purchase a traditional vineyard and devote their lives to creating wine. Ideas of days spent looking after the vines and then retreating to a garden terrace in the evenings to try out the resulting vino are definitely tempting, but unlikely to be realistic.
Wine connoisseurs can now buy into the daydream at least a little bit, by adopting a grapevine at one of England's best vineyards. After you've adopted the vine plant, you'll receive a certificate of adoption informing you of precisely which vine plant you've taken on, plus a lot of info on the history of the vineyard and the brews it makes.
You'll also get the right to a free tour of the vineyard, as well as a discount on anything you purchase during your visit.
For most of us, owning a vineyard and winery will remain a dream, but this tremendous idea of adopting a vine will make a fine present for anyone with an interest in how their wine is created.

As the winter nights get chillier, bleaker and longer, most people crave a bit of solace. A fluffy teddy bear is a firm favourite for cuddling up with on a cold night, so why not take things to a new level by choosing a microwaveable teddy that will also keep you lovel and warm?
Just put the warming teddy into the microwave for a couple of minutes (he won't mind!), and he'll emerge wonderfully warm and just right for cuddling up to. Warning: follow the manufacturer's instructions cautiously, for too much heating may cause damage to the teddy bear or even your microwave.
Whether you use it as a hot water bottle replacement for warming a cold bed, or even simply for spending those winter evenings tucked up on the couch watching television, a warming teddy bear is sure to bring a bit of light and warmth into the darker nights of wintertime.
